The only reason for being a professional writer is that you can’t help it.
I feel like I didn’t make a conscious choice to become a writer, it was just there. It just happened. It just was. I couldn’t (still can’t) change it. I don’t even fight it anymore. I just accept it. Even if I’m not writing, I’m a writer. It’s not like football where you get old and out of shape, you can always write. However, you can be in better shape by … writing.
